Dianthus superbus

Some years ago I collected the seeds of this "carnations" during a hike in the mountains of flesh, which I sowed in the garden without much trouble. The plants were born they began to flourish and spread further proof of the hardiness of this flower. Very nice to see when it blooms at the base of rose bushes. The stems can be over 50 cm tall and the flowering period is long enough.

I recently met an important nursery area in a cultivated form of this flower dianthus that has visibly larger than the botanical form. This cultivar is was introduced as "Prima Donna" (picture above). It will be interesting to see his behavior as compared to botany.
I take this opportunity to wish all friends and supporters of the Blogs Renato a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
